What is a tsunami?
A tsunami is a large ocean wave is usually caused by an underwater earthquake or a volcanic explosion.
Tsunamis are not tidal waves. Tidal waves are caused by the forces of the moon, sun, and planets upon the tides, as well as the wind as it moves over the water. Tsunamis will move anything and anyone in its way.
You should never go near tsunamis because you could drown and it is very dangerous.
Learning Intention: We are learning to follow the correct structure of an explanation.
Success Criteria: I know I can do this when I write an introduction, followed by the explanation sequence, effect and a concluding sentence to explain what a tsunami.
