Manaiakalani Film Festival

On Wednesday 12th November St Patricks school went to Sylvia Park. First of all we went on a bus and went to Sylvia Park. Next we waited for the other schools to get out, then we went inside the mall. After that we waited inside the cinema for the other schools to arrive. Before very long we were talking. After a while we were all ready to watch the movies.

The movies we watched were Hunger Games, Judge GI, Master Chef and Magic Students. Soon I felt like going to sleep. Finally the movies were finished and we all went out and waited for our bus to come. At last we went back to school and had our lunch.

My tower

WALT  problem solve as a group.

Today Mrs R gave us a challenge. We had to build a tower with news paper and celatape.  We had 5minutes to discuss as a group how to make the tower had to stand up for 30 second. The tallest tower won.

The challenging thing was  that the celatape was finish.

If I was to do thing again I will not finish the celatape and to cut  them into small pissis.

On Friday the  6 of September two of the Duffy people came to tell us about  a men called Sua

No matter you are from or who you are if you work hard you will achieve any thing. If you are anyone you could work hard if you try too.

The first thing that the Brown Brothers toed us was a story it was about a men celled Sua was a small but tuff. One day his little sister was crying because a men  hurt me.   Then Sue went waking around the island looking for the men who hurt her.

A need is something you  to survive like water, love, money healthy food, worm and  clothing.


A want is something you like to have like a tablet, ring, Lipton, iPad, car,toys, chair.

A Chair for my mother is a want because she  wanted it because they only had harder chairs. They had other furniture from the community. You won’t die if you don't have the chair. They survived without the chair while the saved the money.

This is a picture of water is a need because you have to have water other wise you will  die.

My estimate

WALT estimate and measure in cm and m.
Estimate means take a guess. When we estimate we use information we already know then try to guess an answer as close as possible to the correct measurement.

After  we estimate we need to check  to see four estimate is correct.

To lean this we flew our   planes.
My estimate was 10 m and 18cm
My plane flew  4m and 78cm.
My estimate was wrong.

Going to the best Rugby league

We are learning the skills of Rugby league.

Today the coach taught us how to do a goose step which is a skip.
Then we learn how to Score a try which is when you hold your hands on the bool and you put it on the ground.
After that we learned how to spin which is you have to run then you spin.
lastly we learned how to side step which is you have to run then you step.

The Magical Dance!!!

On Saturday night I went with my family to the dance. I went to the dance because it was my Mum’s birthday. We went to the church because me and my Dad have  have to clean the church.

First I ate food. My food was small and I looked at the food and it looked like it was nice. I got taro,

buns, pork, hot dog’s, donuts, and a savory. I was very hungry.

Next I danced. I did a hip hop dance. I watched some people do a Samoan dance. Afterwards I did a long dance. I was very hot. Then I had to do a dance for my Mum.

Meanwhile we went home. At home I had  a shower. Then I went to play skipping.

I felt happy and excited because it was my mum’s birthday.

First , punch a hole in the middle of each plate. 
Next carefully cut the 5 egg carton.
Then staple it onto one of the paper plates. 
After you staple the other side to the other paper plates.
After that put pencil then your finish.

Orientation: On Saturday afternoon I went to the swimming pool with my family. At Panmure because it was my brother's birthday.

First I swam and splashed with my brother. I  was swimming and splashing all day long. After we were swimming I jumped and I made a big splash. When I  jumped it sounded like water. It felt like it was warm in the water.

After that I were swimming backward and frontward. Than I were swimming frontward . When I was swimming backward I was imagining that I was a athlete.  Soon I was swimming frontward I was thinking  that I were an olympic swimmer.

Then I gave my brother a birthday card and a  pencil. When I give him a big hug. After that we ate food. It was hotdogs and chips. After a while I ate a birthday cake.

I  felt happy because it was my brother's birthday.

 1 The mouse ran over the lion's  paw and woke the lion.

 2  The lion caught the mouse and the mouse was scared and he said , ''let me go let me go''.

3  The mouse was begging the lion not to kill him, he only wanted to see what it was like in his cave.

4  He asked the lion to spare him would help him someday. 

5 The lion found this funny but let the mouse go.

6 A few day later the mouse heard the lion roar and found him trapped in a net.

7 The mouse told the lion he would help him, even though the the lion didnt think he could.

8 The mouse gnawed at the net and freed the lion.

3 Six lumps Coal

4 Ogre's teeth

5 Eighteen  spider’s

6 Two apples

7 Three  mice

8 Fooman

9 Ribbon

First of all the you have to mix the juice from the lemon with the petals from the fire flower.

Then grate the coal and the ogre's teeth and add it to the lemon juice.

Next  cook the mixture over  a hot  flame for  thirteen  minutes.

After that add the spider’s legs and the apples.

Lastly sprinkle the mixture over the mice to turn  them  into fooman and the over the  ribbon to turn it into a ball  gown.
