WALT: identify how Christian celebrates Holy Week.
Holy week is a sacred and solemn week for Christians. Through their liturgical celebrations - people walk with Jesus in each of his events that he suffered during his final week on earth. These liturgies grow us together to Christ. We are grown as Te Whanau A Te Karaiti into these events (Stations of the Cross) as if each one of us was actually there.  By being part of the activity of the Station of the Cross we are sharing the part of the life and the love that Jesus gave us at that time.

Holy Thursday
Jesus and his friends gathered together to that we know that was the ''Last Supper'' Jesus gives himself to all those who were gather at the last supper and his friends he tells him ''Do this in memory of me.'' He gives his love - aroha in service by the washing of the feet. He tells them to follow this example of love and service - manmanaakitagia.

Good Friday
Jesus gives his life in love on the cross. He give Mother Mary to John as his mother. He forgives all those who sinned against him. He reconciles them with God (Jesus is asking God to forgive them for what they had done) and he gives the gift of passing through death to life with God.
